Spring
In spring, on the mountains you can really enjoy the start of the warm weather and it's the most fascinating season for those who like the colours, scents and tastes that traditionally mark this time of the year: Trentino's new wine and the "nosiole" (wild herbs used to prepare risottos and omelettes). Once the winter is over and the colours return to the woods, it's the best time to go for long walks and excursions on the mountains, in the green woods, or across the fields with the apple trees in boom. With the chance to find the last patches of snow on the Presena Glacier.
Summer
Take deep breaths of the clean air, admire the endless landscapes: impetuous waterfalls, seemingly bottomless gorges, cool woods and high peaks. In the "Malghe", traditional mountain farm houses, you will find the charm of the Brenta Dolomites hard to resist. This is where cattle are bred and cheese and other products are made following traditional techniques; a memorable sensory experience. A thousand-year-old forest and charming lakes contribute to define the fairy-tale landscape of this north-eastern corner of Italy.
Autumn
During the autumn, before resting for the winter, nature shows its most dazzling colours. Walks in the woods, around the lakes and on the mountain tops, become more magical, like giant paintings by the Impressionists. In this season, traditional tastes become more intense and the fresh summer vegetables are replaced by mushrooms and chestnuts. Come and say farewell to nature before it goes to rest for the winter!
Winter
The area around Val di Sole is a proper ode to the mountains. The cold season, with its white, immaculate landscapes, is probably the most charming. With skies on your feet, down breathtaking slopes and along cross county tracks through enchanting woods, or with snow shoes, to enjoy and take in slowly the beautiful white surroundings: the choice is yours.
